Flexible, Clip-Around, Wide-Bandwidth Rogowski Current Probes for Oscilloscopes and Power Analysers

The CWT range is a family of flexible, clip-around Rogowski current probes for measuring AC current waveforms with oscilloscopes, power analysers and other high-impedance measurement instruments. Across the range, models cover frequencies from 0.008 Hz to 50 MHz and peak-current ratings from 30 A to over 300 kA, with options for confined conductors, high-frequency measurements and high dV/dt environments.

A Rogowski current probe uses a flexible air-cored Rogowski coil to sense changing current in a conductor. Because the coil can be clipped around the conductor without breaking the circuit, CWT probes are well suited to non-intrusive AC current measurement across a wide range of currents, frequencies and conductor sizes.

Choose the probe series according to the measurement requirement: CWTLF extends low-frequency performance for long-duration pulses and low-frequency AC measurements; CWTHF, CWTMini50HF, and CWTUMHF-F provide screened coils for wide-bandwidth measurements in high dV/dt environments; CWTUM-S, CWTUM-F and CWTUMHF-F provide very small coil geometries for access around closely spaced conductors and power-semiconductor connections. Selected models use PEM's patented electrostatic shielding technology to reduce capacitive coupling from nearby fast voltage transients.
