RCT Overview

The RCTi and RCTrms are AC current transducers for permanent or semi-permanent installation on equipment. They have a a small, lightweight, clip-around coil whose length can be specified independently of the measured current. The device is intrinsically safe to use because there is no danger of open circuit secondaries, it is not damaged by high current surges nor does it suffer from magnetic saturation. They are exceptionally simple to retrofit into existing plant.

RCTi

Compact, light weight DIN rail mount electronics enclosure powered by external DC supply.
Frequency bandwidth from 0.6Hz to 1MHz.
Typical accuracy 1%, supplied with traceable calibration.
Predictable phase error < 1 deg. at 50Hz and higher frequency.
Switch selectable dual current range in a single package.

RCTrms

The RCTrms combines the benefits of the RCTi with a signal conditioner, providing true rms measurement of ac current. It can be specified with industry standard outputs (0 to 5V, 0 to 10V, or 4-20mA), making it ideal for process control or system monitoring purposes.

RCTi-3ph

As per the RCTi but with a single DIN rail enclosure housing three channels attached to three coils, powered by a single power supply.

IRF

As per the RCTi but the IRF is a single range device in an IP65 diecast aluminium panel mount electronics enclosure.
