PEM are world leaders in the design, manufacture and sale of current sensors, exporting to over 35 countries.
We are looking for a Senior Electronics Technician to expand our small, successful team to take responsibility for:
- Practical ‘hands-on’ electronic engineering; building electronics, enclosures, cable harnessing and connectors, etc.
- Producing engineering drawings for internal use and for out-sourcing to sub-contractors.
- Sourcing suppliers, sub-contractors and requesting quotations.
- Prototyping custom products and new designs.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- success in a similar role.
- experience of using CAD drawing packages.
- excellent computing skills.
Preferred:
- Degree (or equivalent) in electronic engineering or related subject
- Experience with electronic test equipment (e.g. oscilloscopes)
- IPC soldering qualification
